7th October 1944 - Mission #199  - Zwickau

The B17 "Los Angeles City Limits" had an engine knocked out by flak and unable to feather the prop, headed back to Ridgewell.

On the return she was attacked by Me163's which took out another engine. See painting below.

Seen here are P51D Mustangs forming up to her after seeing off the Brandis based rocket powered Me 163's
